SeaMonkey est un navigateur Web qui partage une grande partie du code source du célèbre navigateur Firefox. Il intègre également un client avancé de messagerie électronique et de groupes de discussion, un client de chat IRC et un éditeur HTML.
Le projet SeaMonkey est une initiative communautaire visant à proposer des versions de qualité opérationnelle issues du code de l’application anciennement connue sous le nom de « Mozilla Application Suite ». Alors que la Fondation Mozilla se concentre principalement sur Mozilla Firefox et Mozilla Thunderbird, notre groupe de bénévoles dévoués s'efforce de vous offrir « tout ce dont vous avez besoin, sauf l'évier de cuisine », le tout avec une stabilité suffisante pour une utilisation en entreprise.

- Calendrier "Modifier la récurrence"/Hebdomadaire ne montre pas les jours bug 2011571.
- Corriger une faute de frappe dans addon-sdk util.js bug 2014701.
- Créer un modèle README à utiliser dans les versions bug 2050435.
- Supprimer l'utilisation de globalOverlay.xul dans l'inspecteur DOM bug 2054602.

When attempting to run a new version of SeaMonkey for the first time, Apple will stop it. "Apple could not verify "SeaMonkey.app" is free of malware...", what to do is: (1) Open System Settings (2) Open Privacy & Security (3) Scroll down to "Security" and find "SeaMonkey" listed as trying to open. (4) Click "Open Anyway". (5) Go back and run SeaMonkey again. It works. - - It's still Intel only. NOTE that you are responsible for the security of your Mac. Clicking "Open Anyway" is a workaround that may be insecure. Blame the foot dragging SeaMonkey developers. 😠

This new SeaMonkey 2.53.22 won't work on my Mac OS 26.1 either, just like the previous versions. I always get notified about this fact. Why do they keep trying?

I tried this again, but the same problems persist after the update. Too much intrusive advertising popping-up and taking up too much room on the screen despite pop-ups being blocked in preferences. Why not make the extensions that are available for Firefox/Waterfox compatible with SeaMonkey? At the moment, the availability of extensions is far too limited and certain aggressive elements from the web are seizing control of the app. However, it is the speediest browser and loads webpages far quickly than any other browser.

Pop-ups, Pop-ups, Pop-ups ... and so it goes on. Even with an optional extension installed, my screen is covered in adverts. The range of extensions available for SeaMonkey isn't as extensive as Firefox - scrolling down the list, I'm told this extension is not compatible with your version (this version) of SeaMonkey. However, it seems like a speedy browser - faster than Firefox and Google.
